Spell Check is not working in OpenOffice.org Word Processor 3.2

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and Open Office 3.2 office package , In my open office documents spell check is not working even though i enabled that option ...

Help me please

Follow these steps for enable spell check in open office
1. Type Some sentences in Open Office Editor
2. Select All Sentences and then Goto

Quote:Format -> Character option

3. Select the language as English(UK)

4. Apply Changes

Now You can see errors in your words with red wave underline
