How to set the mysql paasword ?
I am using fedora 10 and mysql 5.x version , when i type mysql in my terminal , without asking any password , its showing the mysql client window. i want to set the password for my mysql root username .....

Please help me ..

Type this command in your terminal
Quote:# mysql -u root password newpassword
